Mingle Sport is a sportstech startup that is changing the game for ballsports with great design and cutting edge digital technology. Our app adds magic to matches, intelligent assistance to training and empowers the social sports network.

We’re a team of 26 passionate designers, engineers and data scientists blended with seasoned investors. Based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, but working with people from all over the world.

Your role

As our new senior iOS engineer, you own our mobile touchpoints, you architect and build the best mobile experience possible.

Together with our CTO you set the overall direction of our architecture and technology stack.

You are part of a diverse and cross-functional team with different disciplines ranging from iOS and Android Engineers, UX, Design, Product management, Data science to your engineering colleagues: Computer vision & ML engineers, back-end engineers.

You are part of a team of 3 iOS engineers from juniors to seniors. As a team you help each other out on all sorts of topics.

You influence the direction of the product, with your knowledge and expertise around the current and future capabilities of mobile.

Mingle is looking for a senior iOS engineer. Someone who loves the deliver the best mobile user experience possible, working closely together with our UX and Design team. Developing cutting edge mobile solutions that deliver upon the promise: the best user experience possible.

What do we expect from you?

Besides, we expect you ...

Excellent English communication skills, both oral as well as in writing
Working and thinking on an academic level
At least 6 years of experience in engineering & developing
Deep experience with iOS mobile app development
Strong Swift and Swift UI knowledge
Deep understanding of mobile architectures
Understanding of Clean Architecture
Understanding of The Composable Architecture
Solid understanding of synchronizing data between a persistent mobile application and Back End
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD
Experience with Core ML is a plus
Experience with video (streaming) is a plus
Experience with Computer vision and video is a plus
Any experience with Android is a plus
Affinity with any sport is a plus
